1979 El Camino, put some time and money into restoring it and won't be finishing it. This has been in the family since its day off the lot. The El Camino was kept indoors over the winter and indoors most of its lifetime. It has a great frame and underbelly, 305 V8 engine is original with low miles in good condition. Working heat and AC and wipers. New front and back brakes-backing plates-spindles-master cylinder-rotors-pads-calipers-drums-hoses all wheel bearings, catalytic converter, muffler, new engine oil pan, spark plugs, transmission cooling lines, radiator, thermostat housing, heater core, all belts have been replaced. The front suspension and rear suspension, shocks, coil springs-control arms upper and lower in the front and lower in the back. Idler arm-Center link-inner/outer tie rods-rear stabilizer bar also replaced. The Engine bay has been restored and the block has been flushed via drain plugs. The interior is original in very good condition. Currently it is a restoration in progress it can be driven around a lot and road tested for repairs. It has been aligned by a shop. Known issues are transmission leaks (Is original), rear differential pinion bearing and possibly u-joints. Needs paint and a tailgate.
