1967 Shelby Cobra
Here is a Replica Cobra that is titled as a
1970 2 Dr Ford coupe, so it does not require
emissions testing. The Car was
professionally built with some donor parts
that have been either rebuilt or replaced
with new parts. The car has been totally
restored by the second owner. There have
been numerous upgrades done to the car during
this restoration with few of the major
improvements being listed below.

The engine was professionally built by a
noted local race car engine builder. It
consists of 351 Cleveland heads and Windsor
block that’s been bored and stroked with a
Scat crank 408 ci setup that has a full
roller cam with about 600 lift, dual plane
aluminum intake that revs the engine to 6500
rpm's. Recent upgrades to a Heavy Duty
McLeod Street Strip 10.5” Ceramic/Organic
pressure and clutch plates rated at 500 Hp.
MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, powder
coated ceramic headers, and exhaust pipes, 5
speed T-5, rear is 8.8 posi with 3.70 gears,
with independent rear end and sway bar. New
RideTech 15 point adjustable Coil-Over
Shocks. Interior has Shelby style bucket
seats with high density foam for comfort;
they have also been fitted with heated pads
for those cold mornings. Seats have 6 point
racing harness and dual roll bars for added
safety. Custom Maple wood Dash with Pioneer
removable face plate stereo with USB port and
SAT ready (optional). The trunk has
removable carpet to gain access to the coated
aluminum fuel cell. Shown in pictures is low
profile Nito NT01 Dot rated tires 225-45-R17
front, 275-40-R17 rear mounted on 17x8 front,
17x9 rear Torque Trust Cobra rims. Also
included not pictured are a set of powder
coated Gray 5 spoke 16” aluminum rims with
225-50-R16 Front, and 245-50-R16 rear. A
painted to match removable airfoil rear
spoiler not pictured is also included. All
Engine and Auto Parts list included with sale
of car.
Performance; weight of car is around 2400 lbs
with a 45 Front 55 rear weight ratio. The
car will do the ¼ mile at 115-120 MPH with
tire slippage.

The recent appraised value of this Cobra is $
60,000, as always there is much more invested
into these cars that can be recouped. I have
listed this for $40,500 but I will consider
reasonable offers also. This car will be
sold as is with no warranties, and buyer
arranges transportation of the car unless
it’s an area sale which can be picked up or
