Description:
There is a wow factor in this 1927 Ford Model T Sedan that we will try to adequately describe in only one page. Before you ask, yes it is original Henry Ford steel. It has plenty of hints of an original pre-war Ford in the body, but the majestic metallic paint and ultra-hot flames tell you this is a performance-built triple-deuce street machine. But while this is unmistakably a hot rod, you\'re also going to be surprised by all its features -- including cold-blowing A/C!
From the first moment you lay eyes on this one, you know they got the stance to look just right. There were inches expertly chopped out of the rood, and the body is channeled over the color-matched frame. Still, this Ford keeps the correct amount of original Model T appearance, right down to the windshield overhang. But then it adds in plenty of great hot rod touches. It all starts with the paint. It\'s a special House of Kolors fuchsia and blue mix. So it creates a shade of purple that has a touch of color shift in its metallic. And because this is a full street machine style, they took extra time to create an awesome flame package that shifts from yellow to orange to blue as it burns down the sides. This was applied in 2018, and there\'s only about 6300 miles on the full build. That\'s why the full package is smooth, radiant, and award-worthy. And there\'s plenty of brilliance on the polished front suspension and rear bumper. Plus, you have terrific hot rod details like the ribbed roof, Cadillac bullet tail lights, flush gas filler, third brake lights, and classic Rocket racing wheels with the correct skinny tire front.
The moment you open the door, you can instantly tell there was a ton spent on this custom interior. It starts with the modern high-back bucket seats. Not only do these have the bolstering to be all-day comfortable, but also we love how the purple and white sets the tone for the full interior. Even the carpet and piping follow this two-tone. There are nice premium additions, like an AM/FM/CD stereo with modern Bluetooth. And when was the last time you saw a real Ford hot rod with air conditioning? It even likes to be a proper drive with upgrades like the banjo-style sport steering wheel, a Lokar floor shifter, and a dash dominated by backlit Dolphin gauges.
An engine this nice deserves to always be on display. This 350 cubic-inch motor has a very tidy style where even the block is color-matched to the car. But this one also loves to show off big power. It starts with a crate engine from the masters at BluePrint, and includes the right details like a roller cam and BluePrint aluminum heads. And sitting on top is a triple set of Stromberg dual-barrel carburetors. It\'s a strong powerhouse with a terrific set of side pipes to really let the V8 rumble. The motor is connected to GM\'s TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, and it feeds the stout 9-inch locker rear with versatile 3.10 gears. And it makes for a solid driver with the color-matched custom chassis, front disc brakes, and a four-link rear with QA1 adjustable coilovers.
The consignor is also the builder on this custom Model T, and so you have a passion project custom that has only been cared for by its creator thus far. That\'s how you get such a well-presented and thoughtful hot rod. Call today!!!
