The Concours d’Elegance auto show and auction in Pebble Beach delivered the highly anticipated sale of a 1967 275 Ferrari Spider convertible for the incredible price of $27.5 million. The massive sale amount from this incredible car was donated to charity. There are plans for the car to be transported to many car shows in the future to earn more money for various charities down the road.
There were quite a few Ferraris and Porsches on display along with a 1932 Lincoln KB Murphy roadster and 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost entered in the auto show. The title was ultimately taken home by a 1934 Packard 1108 Twelve Dietrich Convertible Victoria.
The car won best in class and then took the Best in Show Honors, the second classic car show this car has won. This true American classic turned back all challengers far and wide. The classic’s originality and authenticity, combined with the overall styling and elegance enabled it to capture the top honor.
