Description:2018 Dodge Challenger SXT The 2018 Dodge Challenger will likely come with a choice of the previous four engine options along with the addition of the new Demon supercharged engine. The V6 and Demon engines can only be paired to an eight speed automatic transmission and the rest of the engine options have an available six speed manual. Power is routed to rear wheels with the exception of the new for 2017 all wheel drive GT model. Thx MotorTrend.com. To say that lesser models of the Challenger were hurt by the introduction of the Demon would be a misnomer, because in contradiction, the Demon actually brought more attention to the full line up of Challenger options. For consignment, a 2018 Dodge Challenger SXT with a title verified 42,371 actual miles and sharing much of the sheet metal of the Demon and even the same color, but much more streetable for daily use and harboring a V6 engine with a respectable 305 horsepower and improved gas mileage over the V8 versions. This is a well optioned car with the blacktop package, the driver convenience group, the technology package, and sport suspension. Exterior It doesn\'t matter what\'s under the hood, when you see this car coming up behind you, you take notice. Dodge hit it out of the park with this retro design and it looks mean and aggressive aided of course by the browed and haloed headlights and dual nostril intake on the hood. There\'s also a lack of polished metal which adds to the racy nature of the car and a black chin spoiler, rocker panel, wing, and rear fascia is a great contrast to the body\'s TorRed two stage paint. While we\'re drooling over the 20-inch black wheels with their red calipers and center cap, we note the side markers are smoked, a nice touch. Wire whip antennas are long gone and in their place are things like this car\'s shark fin on the roof. Black and red taped pinstriped run the length of the shoulder line which ramps up at the rear quarter window giving the car a slightly raked appearance in profile. A minor scuff on the rear panel and a minor scratch elsewhere are the only blemishes we record. Interior A standard black interior doesn\'t veer much from the rest of the Challenger line, with nicely constructed and robust door panels featuring stitched leather armrests and a plastic form shell that includes a cupholder in the lower pocket. White stitched black leather, smooth as glass, covers the bucket seats which just by their looks, provide great side support and a padded head restraint and other than the driver\'s seat slight compression, all looks good. The back seats are no slouches with well defined seating for two and an extra seat belt for occupant #3 and just like the 70\'s, that person will have to deal with the floor hump, less severe in 2018. The steering wheel is not just for turning, it\'s essentially a control center with more buttons than a tailor shop and more girth than a fence post with cutouts that make it ergonomically comfortable. The futuristic gauge panel is all aglow with red, white, and orange and can almost hypnotize the unwary with its light display. A center screen is in line with George Jetson\'s car and displays what\'s on the AM/FM/CD radio plus U-connect, its XM capability, CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and the backup camera. Beam me up, Scotty, this car has it all! The T-handle shifter is short and reachable, and the entire floor is cleanly covered in black carpet protected by WeatherTech mats up front. The trunk is also presented cleanly. Drivetrain Tucked under some dress up plastic covers is a 3.6 liter 24 valve V6 with variable valve timing, (VVT), putting out 305 horsepower and tied to a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels and 3.09 gears. The car is equipped with power disc brakes. Undercarriage Clean, driver quality underneath with typical surface rust in spots and usual evidence of use but no grease or oil to be seen. The dual exhaust stil
