Description:2016 Dodge Charger RT Would it shock you if I told you that the Dodge Charger has been a sedan for nearly as long as it was a coupe? When Dodge re-launched the Charger nameplate in 2006, it got some flak from traditionalists for what it wasn\'t: a two-door muscle car like the iconic Dodge Chargers of the late \'60s. Instead, it was a front-engine, rear-drive sedan with an optional V-8 in an era of boring beige boxes. As the 2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye proves, Dodge made the right call. Thx to Chris Seabaugh/Motortrend For consignment, a title verified actual mile 65,979 version of the 2016 Dodge Charger RT. The RT is a performance trim level you will find across the Dodge lineup. This Charger has put a bit of a louder trumpet sound in the cavalry CHARGE with some long tube headers, ceramic coated performance exhaust, snappy graphics for the front and wrapping for the door sills, side mirrors, and roof. 20-inch blackened wheels and grabby 245/45ZR20 all around and we have a looker and a cooker! Note: Due to modifications of the emissions control devices installed by the manufacturer, please check your local, state, and federal laws to determine if this vehicle is applicable for use on public highways in your area. Exterior Looking at the car on a quick tour of the exterior we can see menacing with the black graphic on the grille and bumper. On the bottom of the splitter in front it has been curbed and scratched. Aero headlights on the corners and nary even a seam to disturb the airflow can be noted. The hood has dual wide black racing stripes all on a pristine white painted field. We can also add in some dual ticks of striping on the back of the hood and quarter stripes that bend around and have an R/T on their bottom end. I notice on the rear bumper there is just a touch of bodywork which could have been performed better, but it will suffice. The glass is tinted and the roof is wrapped on black, as are side view mirrors. Just aft the doors a trim spear in black graphic begins and eventually widens on the back of the rear quarter the has a knockout of HEMI badging on it. More blackening for the rear spoiler which has a wickerbill inserted within its top. Then even more blackened aero tail lighting is seen wrapping just below the trunk line. The back top of the bumper shows more black accenting and on the bottom is a big diffuser and 3-inch pipes for the exhale and to keep this baby grounded. 18-inch black 5 spoke wheels are on and wrapped in low profile rubber on all 4 corners. Get the HELL outta my way, I\'m comin\' through! Think of it as a white hat that is armed to the teeth. Interior I reach for the handle and open the doors and what to my wandering eyes do i see... well...black. Black for the door panels, which are a mixture of molded plastic and some stitched vinyl inserts, an armrest and power center in front of said armrest. Below is a storage bin if you will and we note the weatherstripping is a bit wonky on the drivers door sill. Inside we see black broadcloth inserts and leather bolstered covered seats that are high back buckets and these show with some spotting on the seats, but remain in overall good condition. A center console races through the seats and is in good condition as well. In back we see some similar pattern of leather and broadcloth 2 plus 2 bench seating and all of this floats on black carpeting with red edging. The front seats have red power adjusters to get it just right baby bear. The dash design appears to have two eyes peering at you, but it is not a human doing the peering. More aline-esque but still very cool in its design we have sweep gauges on either edge with a digital graphic in the center. Dash central houses a screen with a digital radio and various other features and the vents have red accenting on their louvers. Below are climate controls and for the shifter surround some honeycombed carbon fiber pattern plastic is inserted for extra
