Description:2013 Dodge Viper SRT Want an affordable way to get your hands on a top-notch super car which has serious collector pedigree and can handily smoke pretty much anything on the road? Then step right up and take a look at this well cared for 2013 SRT. 10 cylinders power this 640hp mill, and a 50% increase in chassis stiffness from the prior generation. This car is definitely a neck snapper. If you\'re looking for the best version of one of the best super cars ever built, this 5th generation Viper is your ticket! A paltry 2,165, (yes that is Two Thousand One Hundred and Sixty Five Kids!), miles shows on the clock. This classic snake owner/consignor never raced it, or tracked it, never smoked in. When it was not being enjoyed it was kept in a climate-controlled garage under a custom fitted red and white cover. All service and recalls were performed as necessary and kinda like a well-tended toy, lovingly cared for. All in a rare Adrenaline Red with a mere 117 examples built this year. Exterior From the very front tip where the integrated aerodynamic HID headlights are housed, to the rear spoiler which is integrated into the rear hatch, this snake is dressed in Adrenaline Red, (just eyeballing it will get your heart rate up), and is a designer\'s lesson on the use of a french curve, and integration of various parts and functions. Of the many fascinating aspects of this exterior design, the two highlights for this writer are definitely the Viper fang-esque, shades of the Corvair, Vette Stinger gracefully carved from the sensuous curve of the hood and serve an actual purpose that is to feed precious air to the engine. The second is the integrated exhaust exits which run along the rockers, but do not show themselves until the bitter end in front of the rear wheel well. Just genius, side pipes without side pipes. And borrowed from the Mustang are the hockey stick reversed induction cowls on each front quarter, bordered by the SRT badge. Even the hood line is reminiscent of the DODGE Daytona prototype cars that drivers of yore would stuff themselves into for hours on end racing against the clock... a tight fit! Forged polished fanglike spoke wheels, 18x10.5\'s on front and 19x13\'s on the rear add some bling to the bottom, and this car runs on rails. Interior A swing of the airplane inspired roof wrap around doors and we see 2 black molded leather coverings playing with a curved line to form the door panels. For the 2 occupants, Viper offers up smooth black leather in bucket form with white stitching as well as some molded in headrests with Viper badging. These seats are much like racing seats, as they sport the curvaceous sides, extra-large form fitting bolsters, and even have top openings should you choose to install racing harnesses. A large center console races toward the dash, and at the dash is all the original instrumentation in the form of deep set circular black faced trio of gauges with a digital ODO readout in the speedo. Right out of racing tradition, the tachometer and not the speedometer remains the largest central gauge. In the center are circular vent pods and just below is the AM/FM touchscreen infotainment system and heater/AC control knobs. Nice black carpeting covers the floors, and those are topped by black carpeted floor mats. Utilitarian meets functionality, with just a smidge of luxury would best describe this interior. Drivetrain Line up for the money shot! the director shouts as we lift the hood. Underneath an 8.4 liter 640hp V10 fed by EFI, and backed by a 6-speed Tremec TR6060 that sends power to the rear axle with 3.55 gears. This rear is a Dana M44-4 Carrier GNKvisco differential unit. Pure venomous sexiness! Undercarriage With only 2,165 original miles you would not expect to see anything out of the ordinary, and we do not! Just clean ground effects panels, 4 wheel independent suspension and power Brembo disc brakes along with factory side piped exhaust. HISSSSSS Dri
