Description:2008 Saturn Sky Redline Convertible The Saturn Corporation, also known as Saturn LLC, was an American automobile manufacturer, a registered trademark established on January 7, 1985, as a subsidiary of General Motors. The company marketed itself as a different kind of car company and operated somewhat independently from its parent company for a time with its own assembly plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee; unique models; and a separate retailer network and was GM\'s attempt to compete with Japanese automakers. For consignment, just in time for warmer weather, a consignment that was purchased for some fun for the current consigner, but is now ready to move to something else, making you the potential beneficiary. A low mileage, 71,423 title verified to be exact, good condition example, well cared for, always garage kept, with all operations of the car functional. Built on the same platform and in the same plant as the Pontiac Solstice, it only had a 3-year run, and numbers were not really high. So, you have a lesser seen car in convertible form to speed you to your fun destinations. Exterior This sporty little 2-seater has wonderful curved lines, integrated bumpers that are presented in body matching crisp and clean Polar White with well minded gaps overall. Sealed projector lens headlights curve with the front of the car which melts into the front quarters with a small vertical slit. Nice wide doors allow for easy access to the spacious passenger compartment. 2 seat headrest bumps, just like the old T-Birds, work their way to flat on the rear deck and end in a neat little spoiler on the top. A Porsche 928 inspired bulbous rear is framed on the bottom with a black cowl and a centrally located rear backup light. 18-inch wheels are all around and on top is a black canvas convertible top in very good condition with a clear glass window. Interior Lowering the top, we can examine the interior which is draped in leather two tone, that being red with black stitched bolsters and molded in headrests and cashmere inserts emblazoned with embroidered SKY logos. The door panels carry over the same motif and appear virtually showroom new. A simple 3-gauge cluster barreled curved eyebrow shaped dash fronts a two toned black and red leather steering wheel, and shows RPM, speed, and temperature analog gauges. The center of the dash presents climate controls, and an AM/FM/6 disc CD radio with a 6 speaker plus Bass sound system. A stubby automatic shifter is within the center console in a silver insert and we note the parking brake lever as well. Sport alloy pedals hang above black carpeting which floods the floors. Power driver\'s seat, ABS, power mirrors, power locks, and power windows, plus air conditioning are installed options on this car. Drivetrain A 2.0 Liter Ecotec inline 4-cylinder EFI engine, topped with a turbo charger can put out 260hp. This coupled with the 5-speed 5L40E automatic transmission and you\'ll have plenty of power to get you where you need to be. A 3.73 geared rear axle with limited slip propels you down the highway with ease. Undercarriage Plenty of straight unibody steel is underneath, with small amounts of surface rust seen on the usual suspects. Most parts show some minor road dirt and the factory applied finished all remaining near showroom at this time. Independent SLA suspension is on all 4 corners, and power disc brakes are also all around and looking strong. Drive-Ability Our test drive revealed this car is a hoot to pilot, with nice spunky pickup, smooth shifting from the automatic, quick braking, and snappy handling it provided miles of smiles. It cruised effortlessly at highway speeds, and all functions were working as noted, cold A/C, and a good stereo. This car is comfortable to sit in, easy in and out, starts immediately, and runs great. Getting on the power has a slight lag prior to turbo kick in, but when it does, you\'ll feel it in your pants! A decent mileag
