Description:2007 Saturn Redline Sky Convertible The Saturn Sky debuted in 2006, entered the market as a 2007 model year vehicle, and was discontinued after the 2010 model year. Roughly 35,000 units were built during this time and the convertible was well-received, with reviewers likening it and to a domestic Mazda Miata. The base Saturn Sky offered a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine, dubbed the LE5, which produced 177hp. The Sky Redline spruced things up with a turbocharged four-banger, which was designated by the LNF engine code. The boosted engine had a stout output of 260hp which was enough to propel the two-seater from zero to sixty miles in nearly five seconds flat; 5.2 with an automatic transmission, to be exact. As mentioned, the Saturn Sky was only produced from the 2007 to 2010 model years. The primary reason for the cancellation was Penske Automotive\'s inability to secure a potential manufacturer for future Saturn products, as the deal between Penske and the General stipulated that GM had to produce three Saturn models for the next three years. Since Penske couldn\'t make the deal happen due to the stipulations in the government bailout following GM\'s bankruptcy, the automaker was forced to end the Saturn brand altogether Fast forward to 2023 and for consignment here in our Hallowed Halls is a 2007 Saturn Redline Sky, the inaugural year for this zippy convertible from Wilmington. The Redline being a more powerful engine which has a turbocharger and produces 260hp. This garage kept example has a mere 10,901 clocked miles, and is an all original and all factory car just begging to be enjoyed. Exterior Sinister black is seen draping all the panels on this car\'s exterior, and all appears in like new condition. A black colored cloth convertible top is fully operational, albeit manually, and keeps the blacked out theme going just perfectly. This fast little bean shaped aero car sports a few throwbacks to the classics. One that is very obvious would be the rear deck bump ups that begin as headrests then slowly get thinner where they die before the rear spoiler. The other is a vertical vent v-cove in the front quarter just behind the wheel well, which harkens back to the early corvettes. A vented hopped rear spoiler, and low front opened bumper/chin splitter are also seen. 18-inch chrome wheels wearing the factory installed tires are noted all around and give this car an even more sporty look with the larger wheels. Interior Lowering the top, we can examine the interior, which is draped in charcoal black leather with white stitched bolsters and molded in headrests, and black inserts emblazoned with embroidered white SKY logos. The door panels carry over the same motif and appear virtually showroom new. A simple 3-gauge cluster barreled curved eyebrow shaped dash fronts a two toned black and red leather steering wheel, and shows RPM, speed, and temperature analog gauges. The center of the dash presents climate controls, and an AM/FM/6 disc CD radio with a 6 speaker audiophile\'s dream sound system. A chrome trimmed and leather booted shifter is within the center console along with the parking brake. Sport alloy pedals hang above black carpeting which floods the floors. Power driver\'s seat, ABS, power mirrors, power locks, and power windows, plus air conditioning are installed options on this car. Drivetrain A 2.0 Liter inline 4-cylinder EFI engine, topped with a turbo charger can put out 260hp. This coupled with the 5-speed 5L40E automatic transmission and you\'ll have plenty of power to get you where you need to be. Turning the tires on the back end is a 3.73 geared limited slip rear axle. Undercarriage All showroom like new nary even a hint of road dirt. All independent SLA suspension, and power disc brakes, with a clean rust-free OEM exhaust. Just a beautiful presentation underneath. Drive-Ability A quick starter and drives like it\'s on rails. A great performe
