Description:This one owner 4,997 mile 2000 Prowler 2-tone Woodward edition #110 of 151 was purchased new by our consignor with over $60k invested to make it a one of a kind speed demon. He sought out Reid Yann, a local Porsche speed facility here in St. Louis for over 40 years. They painstakingly installed and fabricated the Novi 1000 supercharger under the hood, increasing stock horse power from 252 to 400+ hp. The following work was done with receipts in hand: - Installed Novi 1000 supercharger - Installed 8 injections - Re-mapped electronics - Installed racing gear in transmission - Installed ceramic coated headers - Installed Borla racing exhaust - Installed HD stabilizers front and rear - Installed additional instrument gauge cluster - Modified 300M long block value seats # springs Made in March 2000, the car prominently featured aluminum construction, in many cases adhesively bonded, chiefly in the chassis. The Prowler body was produced in Shadyside, Ohio, and the car was assembled by hand at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant (CAAP) in Detroit, Michigan. The car left the assembly line with the following options – the Woodward Edition Group and two-tone exterior. From Detroit, this car was shipped to Chrysler-Plymouth West in Ballwin, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. It was delivered to the original owner, Daniel S., on April 10, 2000. He owned the car for the next 22 years and modified it. The car\'s black over red exterior is in overall very good order, the bodywork is straight and solid, the engine bay is extremely tidy, the car\'s bumperettes are firmly attached to the body. The car rolls on Goodyear Eagle GS-D radials, size 225/45R17 in front and 295/40R22 in back. Each one is mounted on a five-spoke alloy wheel. The wheels are in excellent condition while the tires are in very good order. Underhood is a 3.5L high-output, 24-valve DOHC V-6 engine with multi-port fuel injection (code EGG). This motor is backed by a four-speed automatic transmission with Autostick (code 42LE). Driver convenience features include air-conditioning, speed-sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, power windows, power locks, power sideview mirrors and cruise control. Safety equipment includes dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes and keyless entry. Inside, the Agate leather interior is in overall very good order. The bucket seats look great, as does the matching carpet. A three-spoke steering wheel faces the driver while the inner door panels and dashboard are in very good order. The center console and shifter also look great and a factory AM/FM stereo with cassette deck and six-compact disc changer completes the interior. Chrysler engineers were given free rein to design whatever they wanted in a hot rod or sportster type vehicle. Chrysler\'s design and international director Thomas C. Gale said his love for 1930s-era hot rods inspired Chrysler\'s latest design triumph, the retro-styled Plymouth Prowler. Gale, who has a hotted up 1932 Ford in his garage, approved the hotrod-inspired Plymouth Prowler as the company\'s follow-up show-stopper to the Dodge Viper. An early influence is credited to a Chrysler-sponsored project at the Art Center College of Design. This resulted in a thesis by Douglas Chip Foose, which included drawings of a retro-roadster. Foose designed it as a coupe for Chrysler to begin with but modified it to a roadster version. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler is the open, Indy racer-style front wheels. The Prowler featured a powertrain from Chrysler\'s LH-cars, a 24-valve, 3.5L Chrysler V-6 engine The engine is coupled to a four-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission was located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a torque tube that rotated at engine speed, an arrangement similar to that used by the C5 Corvette, Porsche 944 and Alfa Romeo 75 and helped to facilitate a desirable 50-50 front-rear weight distribut
