This big Benz rolls on Continental Extreme Contact radials, size 255/40ZR18 in front and size 275/35ZR18 in back and all four are mounted on highly desirable AMG Monoblock wheels. The wheels and tires are all in very good order. The front suspension has independent damper struts with separate coil springs and gas-pressurized shock absorbers, triangular lower control arms with anti-dive geometry and stabilizer bar. The ASR and ABS Light is on. The rear suspension independent five-arm multilink with separate single-tube gas-pressurized shock absorbers and coil springs, geometry for anti-lift, anti-squat and alignment control and stabilizer bar. Under the gas-strut counterbalanced hood is a 6.0L DOHC, 48-valve V-12 engine (code M120). Backing this motor is a four-speed automatic transmission (4G-TRONIC). This car has a long list of creature comforts – electronic climate control, cruise control, power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, power windows, power locks, power sideview mirrors, power seats with heat and memory and power antenna. The matching gray carpet looks great, as does the four-spoke steering wheel. The inner door liners and dashboard, complete with a full array of gauges, still looks new, as does the center console and shift lever. There are burl wood accents on the doors and center stack. In the dash is a Bose AM/FM stereo with cassette deck and a CD changer. We all know that the financial times right now are tough. With the stock market being so volatile and investments becoming less valuable, many people are turning to the classic car market to invest their money. Putting your money into a hard asset that you can enjoy everyday is becoming a very popular option, especially now when the marketplace is lower then it’s been in many years. We invite you to put your money into a vehicle that is fun to own and brings back memories of when you were younger.
With the increase in turnover has come the increased need of fine automobiles. We are constantly looking for exceptional cars and travel the country coast to coast in search of the rare and unusual. We find our cars through individuals like yourselves as well as classic car and dealer auctions. We do not purchase vehicles that we would not be proud to own ourselves.
