Description:This 1993 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am represents the first year for the 4th gen Firebird, and this example has a history of less use and good care that makes it quite collectible. Plus, this has everything you want, like T-tops, fuel-injected V8 power, and a six-speed. So it\'s amazing to be offered an ideal car that\'s also so affordable.
The final generation of the Firebird is a true classic, and this first-year coupe is crossing the 30-year threshold that makes it eligible for vintage registration/plates in nearly every state that offers it. So when you have a real classic, you want the right mix of proper respect and a car you can enjoy. That\'s why we love this one. The fourth generation gave us an aggressively pointed front end, wide fender flares, directional alloys, quad exhaust tips, and a wraparound rear spoiler for an awesome sporty style. And the Dark Green Metallic is the kind of color that\'s attractive while also nicely representing its era. This was a summertime fun car, and so you\'ll find some signs of hitting the road. But the overall shine and the way the panels align tell you the full story of respect.
The gray interior has an awesome time capsule level of style and preservation. That\'s why it\'s nice to have the T-tops so you can show it all off. In fact, because the upholstery is a comfy velour cloth, it\'s easy to hop in on any sunny day. It has the right look of a cherished and respected car. So you\'ll be hard-pressed to find any worn details beside the cup holder part of the center console. And you\'ll also like this coupe because it comes loaded. You have features like cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, a tilt steering column, power steering, dual airbags, cruise control, and the premium factory AM/FM/cassette stereo with a five-band equalizer. The speedometer reveals what makes this car so unique. It\'s a Canadian car presented in km/h. Part of the backstory we\'re told is that it was under the first owner for 27 years. It was only driven from May - October to avoid sliding around on any salty roads, and the undercarriage photos certainly support that. The color combo, features, and Canadian heritage likely get the rarity down to one of less than 900 cars in this gen Firebird\'s inaugural year (and creative math can get that rarity much lower.) Plus, when you\'re rowing the gears and letting the wind flow through the open top, there\'s just something even more fun about seeing the larger figures that come from a speedo in km/h. So if you don\'t tell your passenger, they\'ll just glance over and they\'re doing 100+ mph on every highway!
Under the hood is a super-clean 5.7-liter fuel-injected LT1 V8. Part of the backstory also says it was in enclosed storage for many years. The car was resurrected correctly in 2020, and that included new items like a distributor cap, wiring, battery, and a starter within the last few years. So this true classic is truly a strong runner. This was a car that was built for driving, and so you\'ll love the full control you get from the six-speed manual transmission. This also has the Trans Am\'s terrific sports handling package, four-wheel power disc brakes, and newer Hankook sport tires.
The sale comes complete with the factory buildsheet and the owner\'s manual packet. This is a distinctive collectible first-year final-generation Trans Am. So you know it\'s irresistible. Call today!!!
