The right stance and color combination can make or break any vehicle, and this 1983 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Sequoia Special pickup looks simply awesome slammed and raked in its two-tone Light Bronze and Cream outfit. This slick Box Chevy truck also packs a brawny 5.0L, a ton of optional and aftermarket equipment, and an upgraded suspension, showing us why these trucks remain so popular today. Take a closer look, this slick Southern truck is a turn-key beauty that\'s both reliable and show-off worthy.

Although it was repainted not too long ago, this truck still carries a factory-correct color combination and exudes a totally \'80s vibe with careful pinstripes between the Light Bronze and Cream paint. That\'s not to say that it\'s dated, because the color combination is timeless, especially with all the deep luster and shine inside the finish of both shades. Park this truck next to one with original paint, and you\'ll see that the Light Bronze is vastly deeper and richer than the original stuff, with a glistening shine that puts even the best original paint to shame. The Cream reflects straight bodywork underneath, and the break line between the colors is laser-straight and even across the body lines. All the original trim was reinstalled or replaced with OEM correct parts, including the hood ornament and oversized side mirrors, and this truck also includes shiny tailgate trim and a bed that\'s been treated to a spray-in bedliner (dyed to match the Light Bronze paint) for practicality\'s sake, so you can put it to work a bit if you need to. A laser-straight front grille and chrome bumpers front and rear give the truck an upscale look and you\'ll be impressed by how tightly the stainless trim hugs the lower edges of the body. This really is a good-looking truck.

The original style interior is very tasteful in Medium Almond, further punctuated with a gorgeous Houndstooth cover on the comfortable bench seat, a crack-free dash pad, and matching door panels at the flanks. Thanks to a relatively recent refreshing, it\'s in great condition with great factory options and a few well-chosen additions. In addition, the plush black carpets, taut original headliner, and even the stock kick panels are all remarkably well-preserved, and one glance inside tells you that this was not a stripped-down work truck ever. Options include factory A/C that\'s blowing nice and cold, power windows and locks, electronic cruise control, and a tilt steering column that now holds the original steering wheel atop it, all of which make this Box Chevy pickup a true pleasure to drive. Flip the key and the dash comes to life, as the original gauge set-up was swapped in favor of a purely digital gauge set-up that looks like it belongs in a Tesla, making this a truck that\'s ready to cruise cross-country at a moment\'s notice with a keen eye toward the engine\'s vitals. An original AM/FM stereo controls the tunes, while the sliding rear window out back is always a welcome accessory, creating draft-free ventilation inside on those days where you don\'t need the A/C.

An uber-dependable 5.0L V8 is plenty to get this truck moving and to haul just about anything that\'ll fit in the bed. With decent horsepower and plenty of torque, this powerplant really scoots around town easily thanks to the help of the 4-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake running the show up top, and it has a great muscle car V8 soundtrack to go with it. The engine bay is neatly detailed and organized, including a black open-element air cleaner, black Chevrolet valve covers, and a set of newer-looking exhaust manifolds that feed the dual exhaust below. Turn the key and it starts easily, which is what you\'d expect from a small block Chevy, and it feels like a far younger vehicle from behind the wheel. Much of that is due to the lowered suspension that features upgraded shocks front and rear and a factory front stabilizer bar that help with the handles and the slammed stance you se
