Our 1977 Mustang II Ghia coupe comes to us from California and is unrestored with the exception of one repaint in the factory-correct Jade Green Metallic. The Ghia package was an upper level trim offering while the Jade package was offered on several lines of Ford products in the late 1970\'s and featured the Jade paint work with your choice of white or green vinyl top and interior. About Us
John Gerton grew up loving cars. From the start, he knew he wanted to be an automobile dealer. At 16 he began his career washing cars at the local Ford dealer. He quickly advanced to an assistant position working closely with the dealer principal and the used car manager. From Ford, John moved to the local Chrysler dealership where he gained a wealth of knowledge by being trained to manage nearly every department from sales to service to parts. John's franchise experience also includes Chevrolet, Harley-Davidson, Indian, and Buell motorcycles as well as Winnebago and Holiday Rambler RV's. He also spent time retailing Goodyear and Michelin products and aftermarket wheels and accessories. In 2003 John and his wife of 17 years, Jill, opened Gerton Auto Sales, Inc. In 2004 John became a Certified Master Dealer with the National Independent Auto Dealers Ass'n. John and Jill are also members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, Antique Truck Historical Society, Scout and International Motor Truck Ass'n., and the International Harvester Collectors Club.
Jill Gerton was John's high school sweetheart. They married in 1989 and have 3 beautiful children. Jill earned her degree from the University of Southern Indiana and spent 15 years in the banking industry. Jill is the beauty and the brains behind the dealership, though her quiet, gentle personality would never let you know.
