Numbers matching, L48/350 motor, 29,000 miles on dash(title is exempt for mileage),4 speed manual transmission, black leather interior, tilt and tele steering column, power steering, power brakes, X-A/C, rally wheels, original air cleaner, original valve covers, AM/FM/Cassette, and much more.
The previous owner owned this corvette for 17 years. He had the rear end and transmission rebuilt. He also replaced the seat covers, door panels, carpet, weatherstrips, emergency brake cable, rear end cover, exhaust, adjustable strut rods, aluminum radiator, and much more. We replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, rag joint, and rebuilt the carburetor. We also changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis.
1976 was the last year for the stingray emblems on the fenders of the corvette, the only year for the Vega steering wheel on tilt and tele steering columns, and the first year for metal floors. GM produced 46,558 corvettes in 1976, out of which only 3,268 were released in bright blue, and only 9,933 with 4 speed transmission.
