The Laguna Type S-3 is among the rarest of the 3rd-generation Chevelles. The urethane plastic front cap was designed to improve aerodynamics, and helped the Laguna dominate in NASCAR competition, winning two Winston Cup Championships before the league made it ineligible for competition. This example has been garage kept and well-maintained by the current owner, and is equipped with sport mirrors, rear quarter window louvers and rally wheels. Power comes from a stock 350 V8 and 2-barrel carburetor mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The burgundy velour and cloth interior is in excellent condition, and is equipped with swiveling front bucket seats and a sunroof. The silver paint is clean, body and frame are rust-free, and the car runs and drives flawlessly.
