Description:
I am a 1972 Mustang Sportroof, “Q” code (351C-4V) with manual transmission. I have had 3 owners. My original (and current owner) ordered and purchased me in the summer of 1972. My original owner sold me in 1986 (approx. 84K miles) to the second owner who kept me until early 2004 (approx. 136K miles). The third owner kept me until early 2010 (approx. 138K miles) when the original owner spotted me on an eBay auction site and repurchased me.
At the time that I was repurchased by the original owner, I was in pretty bad physical condition. I had rust damage in the rear taillight panel and rear quarter panel. My interior was torn and in bad shape. I hardly ran and had many other issues. My original owner proceeded to restore me to my present condition.
I have been entered into numerous local Mustang car shows and have been the recipient of numerous awards since being restored. I am a virtually stock, mostly numbers matching, vehicle. My owner upgraded my transmission to a Tremec, T-5, 5 speed transmission to make me more drivable. My original 4 speed transmission will be offered to whoever wants to purchase me and return me to a complete-numbers matching vehicle. My original owner also added a factory AC system, gauge package, and period correct Ford factory Magnum 500 wheels. My engine has been completely rebuilt and is equipped with a roller cam. I also have a “Marti” report and original build sheet.
