Description:1969 VW Manx Dune Buggy that is heavily modified. This dune buggy uses a full 1969 VW Chassis and can seat 4-5 comfortable. Clean and Clear Title. This vehicle is mechanically in top shape and garage kept. Mods- -2276cc BUILT Engine with Dellorto DRLA 45s and a Porsche 911 Cooling Shroud. This engine is turbocharged. -External Oil Coolers with Electric fan + thermostat -Fresh Rebuild on Freeway Flyer Transmission (450mi on rebuild by Dons Bus Box) -Brand New Ceramic Coated Headers custom made by Competition Engineering -Reinforced Rear Trailing Arms -Oversized offroad tires with widened wheels. (Front - 205/75/15 ... Rear- 31x10.5x15) -Inline Hydraulic Brake to allow sliding left/right in the desert. -Bucket seats + harnesses -Full powdercoated cage + removable soft top. -Dual LED Bars wired up -Street legal kit (turns, brakes, headlights, horn, mirrors) -Short shift kit -Removable Steering wheel for ease of exiting/entering the vehicle -Additional Gauges (Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost, Tachometer, Cylinder Head Temp -LED Headlights + Switchbacks -Full body/pan lift to raise car. -Custom Kill Switch + Key for safety/storage. -Polyurethane suspension bushings all around. -Vehicle also comes with a removable tow-bar for towing around. Cons- -Engine Leaks a few drops as every VW Should -Fiberglass body has the clear coat failing as seen in pics. Currently in the process of repairs for a wrap, but did not finish. -Windshield has a crack -Upholstery has a few tears and could use a refresh. All in all, this car is a serious build and is amazing off road. This will do anything that a rzr/can am can do, but faster.
