Novas make some cool street machines. After all, this 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS tribute already has the right look of intimidation, and there\'s a sharp-looking and powerful small block to make sure it really lives up to expectations.
Third generation Novas are always nostalgic for the Chevelle-inspired fastback-like profile, and Impala-like imposing front fenders. So Chevy\'s compact offering really did borrow a substantial sense of style from its larger siblings. This one takes it up a notch with custom pieces like the half-chrome headlights, clean grille, and blue-dot taillights. And those 15-inch Weld-style wheels have a true drag racer stance with a skinny set up front and a seriously meaty set for the rear. It really give this the right kind of street brawler style. Even the paint seems right. You may want to refresh this red later down the road, but right now we kinda like how it fits with the overall ready-to-rumble attitude. And there\'s also something appealing about an icon that\'s already this complete, right down to the good panels and full-length trim.
That black trim line outside also gives you hint at the full black interior. In the same spirit of the Yenko cars, this gives you a very stock/base setup. But there\'s also an underlying quality to how the seats, carpeting, dash, and door panels are all quite clean and complete. As you slip behind the dual-spoke wheel, you can really get a full sense for this Nova and its performance. After all, there are classic Stewart Warmer auxiliary gauges, a large SunPro tach on the steering column, and a shift light mounted prominently on the dash.
You\'ll never leave the hood down at car shows once you see the investment in the engine bay. The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks fantastic with the bold block paint, and all those polished pieces - including the valve covers, air grabber, alternator, and radiator shroud (even the oil pan is polished!) But the real appeal is that you can also instantly see this small block was upgraded for proper power. It includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Holley aluminum intake, and long tube headers that feed a newer dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission does a god job of getting the power to the 10-bolt rear. And the traction bars and wide tires make sure the power meets the pavement.
Complete with the owner\'s manual, this is the Nova that has the right speed machine style you love and a little extra muscle from the V8 that you demand. So don\'t let something this distinct and complete slip away, call today!
