Wow, this is an amazing Rally Sport Z-28! Very rare, incredible factory color combination that you rarely ever see. Body off frame restored to original specs. #s match on the motor, trans, rear and carb.

EXTERIOR: Amazing fit and finishes! The body is absolutely straight, panels are square and flush. The doors shut like a new car. The paint is polished like glass. The white stripes are painted on properly. Code 52 E = Garnet red with a Parchment top. The halo top is new. Stunning combination! It also features spoilers, the exterior trim group which includes chrome quarter panel louvers, wheel well and gutter trim, and of course the Rally Sport which includes hideaway headlights with headlight washers and relocated reverse lights. I find it very cool that it still has it\'s flat hood. The cowl hood was an option and everybody adds it, this car was kept original. New windshield and rear glass. Every piece of exterior trim is new- stainless moldings, emblems, handles, mirrors, correct antenna, bumpers and bumper gaurds. The grill is new, chrome on the headlight doors and they open properly. The 15 inch rally wheels have new trim and reproduction GT Goodyear tires. The nubs are still on the tread.

INTERIOR: Code 729 = Ivory houndstooth deluxe interior. It is beautiful. The seats were restored with new cushions, upholstery and headrests. They feel and fit like new. New deluxe door panels, window cranks and handles. Overhead the headliner, visors and mirror look new, dome light works. In front of me it has the factory tachometer and working clock with quartz movement and new dash pad and rosewood wheel. Being a rally sport it has rosewood trim too. Down on the floor it has new carpet, reproduction mats and a console with factory gauges. A correct Hurst shifter is sticking out of it with a chrome ball.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Everything is detailed up like factory new. The 302 has proper casting code, DZ stamp, dated properly and the vin # matches the car. It also correct double hump heads, finned valve covers, aluminum intake with #s correct Holley carb. It even has a complete smog system and deep groove pulleys. It is detailed with GM hoses and clamps, reproduction spring clamp battery cables and the correct stampings on the fire wall. It has a cadmium plated brake booster. The complete vacuum system is new for the headlights. Everything looks proper and detailed. All the finishes are clean. Has hood insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean, solid metal was neatly spatter painted. It has a new rubber mat that fits real well with a matching tire cover. It has a jack and spare. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted glossy and smooth. Has new decals and weather strip.

UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame and chassis for complete restoration. The floors appear to be beautiful rust free metal. The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt and detailed. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, starter and fuel pump look new. The M21 Muncie 4-speed has vin # that matches this car. The linkage looks like new. The driveshaft has new u-joints. The 12 bolt rear has 3.73 posi gears, correct code BU and properly dated. Correct exhaust system with transverse muffler and proper tail pipes. The brake system was completely redone, has disc in front. E-brake assembly is new. The fuel system is new- tank, straps, sending unit and lines.

This is one of the best 1969 Z-28s I\'ve seen. The quality is high but the combination of colors is what really does it for me. It feels right too. I\'ll be sad seeing this one leave.
