For consignment, a 1969 Camaro still appearing mostly stock, but with the ability to ramp it up on the 1/4 mile to the tune of sub 10-second passes, oh and did I mention you can drive it to the track and back home? Our consigner has owned this gem for the last 20 plus years, and after reviewing his well detailed and organized notes of the build, it\'s clear this Mustang mucher was the apple of his eye. Loads of performance upgrades, an Andy Jensen built 555ci V8 making 780 dyno proven horsepower and a 3rd place finisher during the 2010 Drag Week competition. This car has also competed in the 2011 Hot Rod magazine Maxton Mile top speed event, and a serious street brawler that you can drive daily using pump gas. Either way you spin it, it\'s a fun straight liner looking the part right out of a 1969 arm dropper movie, only this one ALWAYS gets the hot girl! Exterior Speaking of hot, this car is bathed in a nice application of white paint and keeping true to form there are accenting wide black stripes on the front and rear deck lids. Above the body matching carbon fiber front bumper is the traditional Camaro egg crate grille with outboard headlights and above that is a pin on fiberglass 6 cowl induction hood with a larger than life scoop to show the competition you mean business. All remaining bright work and badging as well as the rear bumper and bumperettes and window trimmings are all looking shiny and fab. The back is dressed with a small rear spoiler attached to the trunk lid and just below are the horizontal tail lights. The stance is just perfect and is finished off with Billet Specialties wheels and staggered width tires sporting 295/50R16 drag tires. A quick peek in the trunk reveals the nicely done splatter paint, rear down bars for the roll cage and trunk mounted battery within a polished box. Interior Climbing through a 10-point chromoly roll cage with swing out door bars, we position ourselves into the heavily bolstered black and gray broadcloth racing buckets. Reaching out to our right we grab the shifter complete with a pistol grip handle and line lock button atop set within the black plastic factory console. A small storage compartment resides at the rear of the console and some wood applique dresses up the shifter area. Moving forward our eyes are drawn to a duo of black face AutoMeter gauges and just above and residing in the ashtray is a MSD Launch Control with 3-step capability. A black rimmed 4 spoke steering wheel fronts the dash complete with the factory deeply inset gauges. Mounted well within the driver\'s view is a large AutoMeter Sport-Comp tachometer and supporting gauges. Topping this all off is a black vinyl padded dash cover and Garmin GPS that now functions as the speedometer. A rear bench seat, matching the front racing buckets is behind all this speed inspired interior, although climbing back there will take some limbering up and a few weeks of yoga classes. Floating the interior is clean black carpet and up high is a lightly sagged but intact black headliner. More gray and black broadcloth for the sleek door panels, and these are dressed with the factory cranks, actuators and black vinyl armrests. Drivetrain Unpinning the lift off cowl induction hood reveals automotive jewelry in the form of an Andy Jensen built 555ci all aluminum V8. This mill is built with a
