Description:
This car has been extensively restored in the
suspension and interior (the latter with
virtually every single component as new).
New tires, wheels, springs, shocks, rubber
fuel lines, control arm bushings, wheel
bearings, gas tank, more. The engine appears
to have never been opened, completely
original except the carb which is correct for
'68 Olds 442 (auto) with 61K on the odometer.
The interior is the show stopper! All of it,
headliner to carpet. dash to package tray,
windshield, replaced. Plus, new gauges
including brand new "tic toc tach" and
original AM/FM stereo retrofitted with
digital components including bluetooth. Dash
treated to upscale switchgear from the '68
Olds 98, identical except stainless over
plastic. Original body sheet metal with no
evidence of collision, with only minor rust
in lower front fenders (typical area ahead of
the doors) and passenger footwell, but with
solid framerails. Needs bodywork and paint
to be in the realm of a $60-$70K beauty!
