WILL TRADE: Two Owners 25,000 Original Miles
Fountain Hills , Arizona
This is a Mack CF 95 fire truck with 25,000 original miles. This body design was first manufactured in 1955 by Ahrens-Fox and then the design was purchased by Mack Truck for production in 1957. This is the final production year of this body produced in 1967 with a Thermodyne Diesel engine. This is one of the Mack “C”-series custom fire chassis.
The Mack C series is regarded as one of the best looking cab forward designs ever made, and it became an instant success with both large and small fire departments everywhere. The C series of fire trucks was mack's first entry into the post world war ll cab forward type fire vehicle market. One of the first telescoping platform designs was introduced on the c series mack, and became the predominant aerial device used by the New York city fire department for over thirty years. The C model Mack is currently both in active fire service and a sought after collector truck. Many examples have been meticulously restored and maintained by enthusiasts and collectors.
This style pumper in 1967 held a world record holder for endurance and pumping capabilities due to the strong and efficient Thermodyne Diesel engine. I have included a couple articles regarding this World record.
I am the second owner and I’ve had it for eight years. This is in great condition but will need a clutch adjustment or possibly other clutch repair . The tires have plenty of tread but should be replaced in the future because of age. I have a clear title. This is an excellent Firetruck for a collector, a small community fire suppression A food truck or even a RV conversion. The beautiful mid-century modern style turns heads everywhere I go.
