Frame-off restoration in 2000, I purchased in
2004 and have kept in heated garage. Re-built
engine 389 Tri-Power V-8 6.4 Liter. TH 350
automatic transmission. Convertible top
replaced 2008 to cloth w/glass rear window
and new boot. Power windows, top, antenna,
steering, and disc brakes. Totally re-wired.
Tilt sport steering wheel, console w/vacuum
gauge, newer radiator, remote driver mirror &
right side mirror, chrome tissue dispenser.
Restored to NOS dash bezel 2009; GTO dash
cover; front bucket seats reupholstered 2008,
headrests, full lighting package-engine,
trunk, console, 4 way flashers. New window
switches 2008; USA 6 Pontiac radio w/iPod
connection; 10 disc CD changer. Wanted more
sound without cutting interior so replace
dash speakers with better but same size;
added amplifier & sub-woofer in trunk. You
can hear it NOW! Rear end replaced in 2005-
8.2 355 w/positraction. Hurst re-manufactured
wheels in 2005. Car is considered stock in
many shows, wheels put it into stock modified
in others, even though Hurst wheels were
available in 1966. I was told by GTOAA that
color was stock in 1965 and an option in
1966, considered stock. Not Concours or
number matching but as close as you can
get!!! The numerous awards it has received,
including Celebrity Choice at Hot August
Nights in 2007 testify to it's beauty. I have
regular maintenance done whether I drive it
or not. Engine compartment is cleaner than my
kitchen floor! GTO floor mats, newer stock
seat belts, custom California Car Cover. Very
well maintained since I have owned it. Free &
clear title, PHS Docs, wiring diagram
included. Spare tire is for stock appearance
to fit under tire cover but not useable. I
have Triple AAA and will have it towed if
