Description:We often see cars from this era upgraded for raw power, but this 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova restomod is a bit different. There\'s plenty of serious muscle when you upgrade the V8 and add a turbocharger, but since this is a modern fuel-injected LS3 motor, the rowdy powerhouse also knows how to feel like a solid machine. In fact, with an overdrive transmission, upgraded suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes, this monster Nova is far more civil than just the point-and-shoot crowd of turbo V8s. We love the silver finish on a car like this. It has a deep luster and a modern metallic glow to get a Silver Bullet kind of nickname. More than paint, there are also the right well-integrated upgrades to announce its speedy intentions. The whole suspension is lowered and it\'s sitting on a nice set of 17-inch Boss wheels with a meatier rear set for an awesome stance. And the tall power dome of the cowl hood signals there\'s plenty of fun underneath. While we like this sporty style, there\'s also an added draw to a car like this. The second-generation Novas were only around for two years, but have one of the best-looking styles. The full-length sheet metal crease and sporty kick-up that begins just behind the doors were the kinds of things we were seeing in the more substantial (i.e. heavier) cars of the era. And this shows off its vintage appeal with good fundamentals like clean glass, newer weather-stripping, and plenty of bright polish on the bumpers and trim. The black interior has a good look and the right attitude. There\'s plenty of classic style with the detailed door panels, smooth dash pad, and a taut headliner. There are also modern conveniences such as an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB for your phone and provisions for air conditioning (the blower motor and other servicing may be needed.) But it\'s immediately clear that the real appeal is about being a driver\'s car. You have upgraded front bucket seats with superior bolstering. The sports steering wheel, tilt column, AutoMeter white-faced gauges (with large speedo and tach,) and center console with shifter are all part of a serious performance package. You\'ll love lifting the hood to showcase the 6.2-liter LS3 fuel-injected V8. And while that motor would already prove to be a giant killer in more modern Corvettes and Camaros, this one takes it to a whole new level with a turbocharger. In fact, this is a full performance build with a Holley Ram air intake EFI intake, Fast 102mm throttle body, aluminum heads, and a Tick Performance air-to-water intercooler. The full package is said to easily dial-in a street-eating 700 horsepower, but really, the rumble of the side exhaust will let everyone know it\'s a big power machine. It\'s also a strong runner that\'s supported by the right components, like an aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, fuel pressure regulator, braided fuel lines, and a Precision Turbo wastegate. As you look at the undercarriage, you\'ll see a stout suspension that includes an upgraded front end with tubular control arms, rack & pinion steering, subframe connectors, and a strong four-link rear with Heidts coilovers. Plus, the modern performance tires, well-built four-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors make this a sharp total driver. There\'s a strong and confident feeling behind the wheel of the LS turbo Nova. That makes it the ideal mixture of power and poise that you know needs to be in your garage. Call today!!!
