Colorado springs, Colorado
We are moving out of state. I have lowered the price by $1000 in hopes of finding our Ranchero a new home before we move.
FOR SALE: Restored 1965 Ford Ranchero

Restored 1965 Ford Ranchero. It was taken down to bare metal and painted an extremely nice metallic blue. There is no rust.
The rear fenders were tubbed and the axles were shortened to allow for wider rear wheels and tires. The bumpers are new.
The interior is completely new with seatbelts, headrests and floor mats. Included are new tach, oil pressure, water temp and volt gauges. All weather stripping was replaced with new weather stripping. The interior is absolutely beautiful!
The original 289 V8 was rebuilt by Don Hackenburg: machine work; proper valve seats for modern fuel; new Comp cam, Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel carb and intake manifold; new alternator; headers by Doug. It is a nice running vehicle, and has been driven approx. 500 miles since the restoration.
It has the original 4-speed manual transmission. The rear end is a Ford 9" with 3.50 ratio gears (bearings, ring and pinion and Mark Williams axles are all new).
The BF Goodrich TA tires and Torq Thrust Wheels are new: rear 275/60/15 on 8 1/2" wide wheels and the fronts are 205/60/15 on 6"wide wheels.
The fuel tank is new fuel cell installed due to the tubbed rear fenders.
The front brakes are discs and the rear are 11" drums.
The dual exhaust system is new, and the heater core has been rebuilt.
The suspension was completely rebuilt with Shelby type upper A-arms, gas shocks front and rear; all new tie rods and ball joints; new springs on the front that lowered it 1"; new 1" front sway bar; new spring mounting shackles rear, new bushings, etc.
Look at the photos and contact me if you have any questions. The vehicle comes with a 2" thick stack of receipts verifying all that has been done.
