Description:
Original 425 with rare markings on
block see video.
The 425 cu in (7.0 L) was produced
from 1963 to 1966. The largest-
displacement version of the
Nailhead, it began as an option on
the 1963 Riviera, and was later
available on the Wildcat and Electra
models. The 1964 and 1966 Rivieras
used the 425 engine as standard
equipment.
I started with the underside by
removing both front and rear
suspension to have it powder coated
black. All new bushings front and
rear, new front Bilstein
Shocks front and rear, new front and
rear 3" drop springs,
New Wilwood front Disc
breaks, New rear drums and rebuilt
breaks, Brand new rear end 3.23 posi
installed but never driven, power
windows work but some switches need
to be rebuilt, no electrical issues,
lights work, blinkers work etc. The
transmission has been removed due to
it needs to be rebuilt. Motor runs
but should be looked over. Clean
title, numbers matching motor. I
have hundreds of pictures if you
want. Car is on jack stands so you
can see what has been done to the
underside. Must sell, great project
to finish... Price is firm, please
no low ballers dont waste my time or
yours.
