I'm selling my GMC 1000 Step Side truck
because I'm not a mechanic and I don't have
the skills to bring it back to life, Pulse
the cost of doing so with a third party
doesn't make since for me.
My family is the original owners. It was my
high-school truck through the 80s however its
time to give it over to an owner that has the
time, desire and resources to bring it back.
The engine is a 305-V6 which was an option
for this truck at the time of purchase,
however this truck originally had a straight-
6 that gave out on us so we replaced it with
the 305. Other than that its 100% original,
I've even got the original hub caps LOL. The
Truck comes with a clean title only 4 owners
total. My grandfather, my mom, my brother and
me. Its had a few minor accidents over time,
but its an iron tank and has no major damage
from accidents? An amazing starter for a
rebuild, and the truck is very hard to fined.
You'll find Fords & Chevy step sides that
somewhat look like my truck but you wont
fined another 1960 GMC step side with its
original style I'm confident of that. All you
need to do is look at the front of the truck
to recognize its originality for starters.
However It is a fixer-upper. You will need to
be experienced in
bodywork due to rust, dents and faded paint
or be willing to pay for the custom rebuild.
although it runs perfectly; It needs a great
deal of work to enjoy the
drive as if it were new.
Also its important to mention that
I'm not in a need to sell situation. I will
consider other offers but would rather pass
it down to my boys then sell it on the cheap.
in researching the value of the truck it will
retail fully restored; in the upper 60 to 80
thousand dollar range. I look forward to
offers and enjoy talking to people about the
truck so please inquire if your interested
through Calls or emails.
