Who doesn\'t love a classic pickup truck? Especially one that you can drive and enjoy, built with tasteful upgrades, that take you back to the height of California-style customization! What we just described is this gorgeous metallic blue \'56 Ford F100 that packs a small block Chevrolet 350 V8 under the hood, but is equipped with an automatic transmission and custom interior to ensure that this truck can be properly enjoyed! The truck starts with a look that is pure 1970s west-coast. The body hasn\'t been chopped, fiberglassed, or otherwise hacked up, and is covered in a gorgeous shade of Metallic Blue. The paint is an older repaint and does have some minor imperfections from daily driver use, but it has held up well over the years as has the hand-painted custom pinstriping. The paint is just well enough to proudly display it at car shows, but not so clean and perfect that you don\'t want to take it out on the open road. The bumpers are finished in a brilliant chrome that just draws your eyes right to this truck! Given that this truck came here recently from California, both the style and excellent body condition make perfect sense. Lift the hood and you\'ll find the Chevy V8 seated comfortably in place, and while it is far from factory this was a very popular swap back in the day. The engine is dressed up, as it should be, to complete the mild custom look this truck is going for. Look closely, and you\'ll see that the engine bay is clean and shiny just as you would expect it to be given the look of the engine itself. While whoever built this truck didn\'t go overboard, they did give it plenty of flash! Inside the interior has all been previously redone with a GM truck bench seat. While the interior shows age similarly to the exterior of this truck, it is comfortable and unique. The way the driver sits in this truck, combined with the interior colors and materials, you can\'t help but shake the feeling of being in a vintage semi truck. Overall, the interior is a great place to log some miles! An old-school hot rod prism is in place on the dash for ease of viewing stoplights. Look through the rear glass and you\'ll find gorgeous custom engraving as well as in the vent windows. s Where else can you find a truck that\'ll take you back not only in time, but to a place?
