Description:
1955.1/'First Series' pickup modernized hot
rod. 4.8L Vortec (short stroke LS) with
chain driven cam, headers, 2.5" exhaust.
Engine refreshed at 110k miles to include
machine shop inspected aluminum heads, new
head & valve cover gaskets. Replaced: water
pump, all sensors, plugs/wires, engine
oil/filter. The sequential multi-port FI in
mated with Tanks Inc rear mounted tank,
Walbro fuel pump. new GM style 58 PSI
filter/regulator. Aluminum radiator with
dual electric fans (puller & pusher). Trans:
GM 4160E(lectronic) 4 spd OD. Rear: GM 10
bolt 8.5", 3:08 gears. Suspension: Mustang 2
power rack & pinion (with new bushings);
triangulated 4-link with QA1 adjustable coil-
overs; power front disc bakes, drums rea with
proportioning valve. Also replaced: trans
fluid/filter, all gaskets and seals,
differential oil, brake pads and shoes. Cab:
vintage flow thru exterior visor, Dolphin
gauges, self cancelling signals, Cold Master
AC,, new mirror, visor and arm rests, Altman
door latches and locks. NOTE: The antique
tool box is not included, but available
separately only with the truck.
