Description:1955 Chevrolet 210 2-Door Sedan The Chevrolet Two-Ten, or 210, was the midrange model of the Chevrolet car from 1953 to 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number, (2100), by one digit in order to capitalize on the 1950\'s trend toward numerical auto names. The numerical designation \'210\' was also sporadically used in company literature. It replaced the Styleline DeLuxe model available in previous years. The Two-Ten was discontinued after the 1957 model year to be replaced by the Biscayne. For consignment a 1955 Chevrolet 210 2 door sedan. This car has a newer 350ci V8 with a single 4-barrel carburetor and a Holley Intake. Bathed in red, and 15-inch rally wheels you are ready to cruise or go to your local drive in! Exterior Red paint adorns body panels that have some of them seeing previous repairs, some seeing rust and misalignment in the gaps and the usual scratches and dings, some with rust underneath. Overall the paint is applied thick in some areas and one can notice streaks and overspray. The rockers have been repaired and there is some rust bubbling starting on them. The car appears mostly like it did from the factory as to looks with the egg crate grille, jet age hood ornament, visored headlights and the back trim spear on the rear quarters. Bumpers are shiny, and chrome looks to be in good condition. Wrap-around glass is a nifty element to this year, and the cloisonné badge on the trunk is iconic Chevrolet. Dual exhaust peek out from under the rear bumper and 15-inch rally wheels are on all 4 corners. Interior Opening the door we are met with panels that are red and white and appear very 50\'s in their layout of the vinyl and chrome. Inside bucket seats have been put in and these are in white tuck and roll and more late model in their styling with seatbelts. A white tuck and roll vinyl bench stretches from B pillar to B pillar in back. These chairs float on black carpeting in good but somewhat dirty condition. There is now a center console between the buckets and it is a newer Oldsmobile version all be it showing its age. The dash is original in its dual fan appearance, all metal and all red save for the chromed horizontal ribbed center stream that runs through the center. The speedo glass shows some splatter on it from what I do not know., also below the dash is a trio of aftermarket gauges. A well worn steering wheel with its chevron center posts is fronting the dash. There is also plenty of wiring that is hanging below the dash. Above is a white headliner that has some staining between the seams but it remains tight. Overall lots of patina and wear for this interior. Drivetrain Under the hood in a restored engine bay in red is a newer 350ci V8. It is topped with a 4-barrel carburetor which flows fuel and air through a Holley intake. On the back is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. 3.36 is the ratio for the rear axle. All looking good with no corrosion or rust under here. Undercarriage Surface rust in various stages of thickness abounds on this undercarriage. Some oiling areas from the bottom end of the engine and the rear pumpkin have kept it at bay. The frame has surface rust as do the rockers and wheel wells. Headers and a Dynomax exhaust system allow for the big exhale. Independent coil springs are in front and leaf springs are on the back. Power disc brakes now in front and power drums in back. Driver-Ability This car started right up and off to the test track I went in 50\'s exterior and newer interior style. It runs nicely and handles well with no power steering and the brakes were good with the added power. All functions were in working condition at the time of the test drive. Overall fair condition with some paint issues, light rust on the seams, and a patina interior but it\'s newer. The engine and bay are very good as is the running and driving of this throwback to 1955. B55B069117 B-2100 Series 55-1955
