This 1954 Mercury convertible was purchased by the
present owner who started his career in auto body in
1960 and was the instructor of the auto body program at
Western and Eastern Vocational schoosl in Baltimore
County Maryland for about twenty years. The owner now
must sell the vehicle because he has lost his storage
facility and must let someone else complete this project.
The rear suspension has been lowered four inches with
new "Posies" rear springs. The front suspension has
been dropped four inches and rebuilt with new
components. Bumpers, front grill, front fenders,
upholstery, hood, side trim. chrome and other used
components are included, but stored separately. New
replacement filler panel below hood is included.
Replacement quarter panels are screwed in place.
Replacement panel below trunk lid is screwed in position.
Replacement rocker panels are welded in position. The
windshield is good. The engine and radiator are not
included. Included are two correct manual transmissions.
Convertible top assembly is intact as shown in pictures.
Very nice Vent window assemblies for the doors from a
1952 Ford are included which is an upgrade from the
1954 assemblies. Many books, manuals and other
literature are included in the sale.
Car has no engine included.
