ABSOLUTELY STUNNING FULLY RESTORED 1937 HENRY STEEL FORD 5 WINDOW COUPE...302 CRATE 345 HP ELDELBROCK FUEL INJECTED ENGINE , STAINLESS STEEL BUMPERS, AIR RIDE ALL AROUND, VINTAGE AIR CONDITIONING, LOADED UP WITH POWER STEERING, POWER DISC BRAKES, ANDMORE....SHOW WINNER, BUILT TO DRIVE AND ENJOY!!!
This '37 Ford 5 Window Coupe is simply gorgeous from every angle and was treated to a frame off restoration by Robert Thresher of Yesterday’s Classics . The impeccable quality is seen throughout the car. I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video of it starting up and running, and an honest description to help you decide if this 5 Window Coupe should be in your garage this summer.
As mentioned, this '37 was treated to a professional, frame-off restoration and the paint and body are absolutely outstanding!!! This is an all steel bodied car and the body panels are extremely straight and body panel fit is outstanding especially when you consider this car is 80 years old and chances are the body panels fit better than they did in '37. Doors open and shut very nicely! Original hood with original hood ornament that also acts as the release handle looks great and functions properly. Engine side panels can be removed if desired but look great on. Chrome grille looks outstanding and all of the rest of the chrome, bumpers, trim etc. all look excellent.. The car was professionally detailed and has a great layer of wax on it that you can simply wipe down with a microfibre cloth before the shows. I think the photo tour below will show you what you need to see and I feel confident saying this '37 looks as good in person as it does in the pics!
Complimenting the jaw dropping Red exterior is an incredible custom beige full leather interior with customer accents in red along with diamond patter tufting throughout. Drivers seat is a 6-way power seat and should accommodate drivers of all sizes. Custom door panels match the seats and all of the upholstery looks close to new. Tilt steering column with a beautiful wood grain banjo steering wheel. Nice set of gauges in the dash . All of the gauges are working correctly. This '37 also has updated vintage air conditioning system which is controlled via the panel on the dash. The leather dash and console also add to the detail of the interior. For the finishing touch, an Alpine touch screen entertainment system for all of your music and Bluetooth needs. Speakers are placed throughout the cabin for a great sound system. The red headliner finishes out the interior. Overall a meticulous and super comfortable and custom interior ready for the shows and cruise-ins.
The equipment list used in the creation is extensive and impressive!

At this point hopefully you are thrilled with how nice this '37 looks and maybe you are wondering if it could possibly run and drive as nice as it looks.....ABSOLUTELY!!!!! If you have owned or driven any older Hot Rods you probably now that not all of them run and drive all that great and are quite dangerous to hit the road in. Not this '37!!!! Let’s start with the 302 Eldelbrock Fuel Injection Crate power plant that has just over 200 miles on it since the restoration. With horsepower at 345 hp which is more than enough to set you back in your seat if you mash the pedal and will get you on the highway with ease and will also cruise out at 75 mph with no issue. Nice street cam gives it a slight lope at idle. Nice set of ceramic coated Sanders headers breathe out through the custom exhaust that gives this Hot Rod exactly the tone it deserves and you can hear it running in the video that follows. The engine bay is nicely detailed and polished alternator and polished A/C compressor help dress it up. Red Top Optima battery neatly mounted for strong cranking power and custom radiator enclosure helps keep this baby running cool at all times! Driving this ground pounding classic is also a breeze thanks to the Mustang II front end and power steering set up and stopping is also a breeze thanks to the power front disc brakes. No pulling, no vibrations, just a smooth and tight ride from this '37. Of course it is an automatic and the C4 TCI Street Fighter transmission shifts smooth and strong. Rear end gearing is estimated at 3.25 gears for comfortable highway cruising. This 5 window Coupe really hits the road beautifully and is a joy to drive!! The total investment in the build would be well into the $100,000 plus in todays market! Don’t miss the opportunity to take this beautiful ’37 Henry Steel Ford for the ultimate cruise!
