The interior continues the full racer attitude with just a touch of flair. So you get a classic contoured seat setup with a nice touch of tuck and roll in the inserts. The low-cut windshield, racing lap belts, four-spoke steering wheel, tall shifter, and a dash full of Stewart Warner gauges all have that great vintage feel. The most modern item you\'ll likely notice is the Bosch tach mounted on the steering column.
We love to see this 180 cubic-inch flathead V8 on full display. It\'s built for hot rod/speedster duty with vintage upgrades like the dual Stromberg carburetors, an Offenhauser intake, and Fenton finned heads. And the straight-fed side pipes give a terrific unfiltered rumble. This keeps a classic look, but there are the right modern touches for a better driver, including the 12-volt electrical system and a fuel cell in the trunk. And these little extras make this raucous roadster and confident driver that fires up quickly and runs strong. This doesn\'t feel like those post-war-style T-buckets with extra fancy suspension, but that\'s why you love it.
