Good day to all prospectors,
This is a 1937 Packard 120 Club Sedan, straight 8
cylinder engine, I purchased this car in 2009 and
now I\'m putting it up for sale for any respectable
collector. The paint job of this vehicle is good,
with some paint chips around the rear light area
and minor cracks but overall a great color scheme.
The running boards near the doors need a little
work but still looks great. The front grill and
hood ornament suffers from some oxidation of the
chrome but still looks good. The interior has been
restored in some areas and looks even better and
the interior looks great, very comfortable to sit
in and take passengers in as I have. This vehicle
has been driven sparingly when not in use it is
covered in a protective surface against the
elements. I have put thousands of dollars into
restoring this vehicle back to its original state
and now she runs excellent with no issues.
Car features classic suicide doors, white wall
tires, a working heater and windshield wipers. It
is an H-pattern floor stick manual shifter with 3
speeds with reverse. Shifting in gears during
driving is easy and simple. The trunk is big and
comes with a spare tire which I\'ve never took out
as the four tires on the car themselves are in
excellent condition. The car in itself drives
great on the road, I\'ve taken it on trips of over
20 miles before day and night with no issues, all
lighting works and is really nice and bright.
Speedometer, gas, electrical, oil and temperature
dials work and are accurate, horn works. The
throttle knob works too, and is useful if you want
to give the car extra gas, I used it to help keep
the engine running in idle while driving but for
the novice shouldn\'t be used as a way to have
\'cruise control\' as it keeps feeding the system
gas. I have two books to include with the car for
the purchaser, a manual to the car itself and a
shop manual that goes more in-depth of the car,
both come great with understanding the car\'s inner
workings and maintenance standards.
These are a list of the repairs/restorations I\'ve
had done to this vehicle.
New brakes and suspension system, new electrical
wiring system and harness, restored windshield
wipers, new original door handles with key, engine
tuneup and spark plugs, repaired radiator,
repaired heater, upholstery done in back of
interior car, exhaust manifold, water pump,
exhaust pipe, Muffler, interim pipe, tail pipe,
clamps and hangers, new carburetor, relay switches
installed in headlight system, new glove box.
It has spent two years under restoration and
repair the rest of the time it has been sparingly
ran by myself and then protected and maintained.
It is a great car and works great also no issues,
I\'ve driven it enough during day and night to know
