This car is a very good example of a 68 Caddy. The body is straight, interior is nice, paint is bright and vinyl top is super clean. The chrome on bumpers is showing it\'s age, but not pitted. Front bumper has a dent on driver\'s side from previous 81 year old owner hitting garage door frame moving it out.
The car has it\'s original 472 engine. I have added chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Other new parts are, water pump, radiator, alternator and Pertronix ignition. I have all original parts I removed.
The engine cranks and run, but the distributor is stuck and the timing won\'t advance or retard. I\'m told that this is not uncommon for some older cars that have not had the distributor moved for a while. I feel the it is a fairly easy fix for someone with average mechanical ability.
I want to build a 50s style custom and need to sell this car to do so. I am open to trades on a 49-50 Chevy Fleetline or similar type cars. Let me know what you have to offer! My car has a clear title and your trade must have the same. Will consider all offers.
