Vehicle Description
|
1974 Pontiac Ventura. Has most GTO options added (Duals with correct spouts, shaker hood, decals, etc...)
Original factory 350V8 4 barrel Ventura with column shift automatic TH350, performance mufflers & air conditioning (loses freon charge but did work last year)
Car is VERY solid with no rot. A good driver that turns heads.
There are a few minor things that I would fix, if I could find the time:
Broken wiper switch
Heater disconnected (needs a heater core perhaps?)
Heater control head (in dash) has stiff & sticky cables
Glove box door latch needs replacement
Engine runs good, no smoke or oil use, but breaks down under hard acceleration. Spark advance? Vacuum leak? I don\'t know for sure.
Electric air flap on shaker hood needs to be wired / plumbed properly. The components for this ARE on under the hood and do work.
Car has NO SEAT BELTS. The originals were removed with the installation of a new head liner that does NOT include holes for the shoulder belts. I intended to use basic lap belts but haven\'t. The originals are still available.
This is a pretty little driver. I am not desperate to part with it and have no interest in low-ball offers, so please be considerate.
Thanks in advance for only contacting me with SERIOUS interest!

LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD:
Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money.
Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
- Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
- Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
- Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
- In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
