Vehicle Description

Hard to have more fun with your clothes on than in a pro-built Cobra replica. This one comes complete with a 5.0 that\'s built for combat, a fantastic color combination, and a list of show wins already to its credit. If you\'re an immediate satisfaction kind of guy, take this one home and have fun. The kit is from Street Beasts, but it\'s hard to call a car that was professionally built over a period of four years a \"kit.\" All-new components were used in the build, so this isn\'t some cadaver-hunting expedition come to life, but a car that was designed to be the best right from the start. The fiberglass bodywork always needs a little finessing, so the pros at Jodeco Auto Body, who have a reputation for turning out some of the finest Cobras in the nation, smoothed it out and got everything to line up just right. Then they laid down the Speedway Blue base, along with white stripes, then buried it under a few coats of clear. That shine tells you that they also invested a week rubbing and buffing the finish until it had an inner glow that makes people stop in their tracks to get a second look. Twin chrome roll hoops were fitted, you know, just in case. The tan leather buckets with matching door panels put a distinctly British twist on the usual Cobra attire, but that\'s entirely appropriate considering that the Cobra was based on the English-built AC Ace. Those ties are tenuous at best with a reproduction Cobra like this, but those lovely leather hides are so buttery soft that you\'ll find it impossible to resist touching it every time you walk past this car. Color-matched harnesses from Simpson add to the competition look, and the wood-rimmed steering wheel is a reproduction unit that could pass for an original. Classic Stewart-Warner instruments fill the dashboard in a simple array, and if you think you need a heater and a radio in your Cobra, you\'re probably doing it wrong. A Hurst cue ball shifter springs from the transmission tunnel with a slight forward-cant, similar to the original, and once you\'re behind the wheel, you\'ll probably find that the Cobra fits like a racing suit. The engine was yanked intact from a pretty gnarly drag race prepped 1990 Mustang GT. Featuring goodies like a Brad Anderson custom cam, Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, and an Edelbrock Victor Jr intake with a Holley double-pumper, it definitely has the blasting powder to make this Cobra move like an original. It\'s also beautifully dressed in Cobra regalia and the professional build quality shows up in the braided stainless lines and impeccable workmanship throughout. It\'s backed by a T5 5-speed manual and a 9-inch full of 3.25 gears with a Track-Lok limited slip, so it\'s pretty civilized out on the road. The front suspension is Mustang II A-arms with rack-and-pinion steering, and there\'s a disc brake at all four corners. Glittering American Racing Casino rims (yeah, like this car needs more flash) wear 225/50/17 front and 255/45/17 rear BFG performance radials. With just 749 miles on the build, this is a show-quality Cobra that\'s ready to drive, show, and perform with no questions asked. Call now! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom. LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD:
Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money. Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
  1. Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
  2. Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  3. Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
  4. In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
