Vehicle Description

1964 Dodge 330 Max Wedge \\\"Grandma\\\'s Dodge\\\" - This car has some very cool history. It was a feature car in Mopar magazine and was also published in the Mopar Essentials catalog in 2006. I have copies of both. Actually there are a few different stories behind its history, but the one I found to be most accurate is that it originally belonged to a little old lady who worked for Chrysler\\\'s Detroit plant in 1964. The car still has a parking sticker on the inside rear view mirror from the Chrysler Center Parking Lot! It was sold in the mid 1960s to a guy who is now a Mopar collector who lives in the Detroit area. He made a name for himself and this car as one of the most revered street/drag racers in that area during that time with this car. He named the car \\\"Grandma\\\'s Dodge\\\". It was purchased by another Detroit Mopar collector who restored it to what you see today. It has an original 31,000 miles on the clock and was restored to a super high concourse show quality. BODY & PAINT: It was disassembled and taken off the frame and restored by a very high-end restoration shop and beautifully painted in its original color and is absolutely show quality!! All of the chrome was professionally redone and it has all new weatherstripping too. INTERIOR: The interior is all new and also redone in its original colors and options. ENGINE, TRANS AND REAR: The engine was built by one of the best in the business, the original B-1 Bomber himself Mr. Dave Koffell, Sr., to a tune of just under $28,000. It is a 498 c.i. / 620 h.p. Max Wedge Stage III engine with B-1 aluminum heads and a magnesium cross ram with factory AFB carbs, just to name a few. The receipts and dyno sheets are available to prove its pedigree. It has custom hand-made jet hot coated and tuned headers and exhaust by a guy who builds the nicest custom exhaust for the best and fastest in the business. It is backed by a race prepped 727 torq flight automatic transmission and shifted by its original typewriter shifter -- very cool!! It also has a 8-3/4 sure grip posi rear with 3:55 gears. OTHER FEATURES: Options include disc brakes, all new steering and suspension and drag radial tires. This is an exquisite car that was professionally restored with no money spared, and it shows. I have never seen one this nice and am pretty sure neither have you!! Not only does it look awesome, it runs, sounds and drives incredible!! I have tons of paperwork and receipts backing up its extensive restoration. This car is a true part of Mopars and Detroit\\\'s street racing history, as well as being concourse restored. Don\\\'t miss it!!! SPRING SPECIAL $65,000
LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD:
Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money. Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
  1. Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
  2. Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  3. Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
  4. In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
