1959 Chevy Apache ½ Ton Fleetside
Numbers matching professional restoration on a completely original truck with all its original body panels, engine and chassis. This all steel very rare truck from the dry state of Colorado is 100% rust free. Its absolutely mirror straight lines are enhanced by show-quality paint and stunning interior. The as original Chevy Baltic Blue & Bombay Ivory paint scheme is exactly as this stunner hit the showroom floor in 1959.
The very strong original 235 in-line Six runs effortlessly. The floor-mounted 4-speed from the factory shifts smoothly and quietly. Highway speeds of 65-70 MPH are attained and maintained easily.
Everything on this truck works, as it should--The extremely rare from the factory radio, the heater, horn, turn signals, all lights-even the emergency brake. The brakes have been re-built as original with a new master cylinder and stop the truck straight and true. The steering is tight and responsive.
The door rubber and weather-stripping are brand new. The glass is all-original and quite serviceable. It has purposely been left as is to preserve originality. All the stainless trim is original to the truck and is exceptional and bright as the pictures show.
The Red-Oak bed and painted steel strips are brand new.
The tires and stainless rims with half-moons are nearly new, period correct and show beautifully.
You simply do not find short Fleetsides this original, rust-free and straight. The truck needs nothing! This showstopper has been stored inside and covered since the painstaking paint process was completed.
