1971 Nova SS 17,900 Mi, Good condition. By Owner, Black over
Red with black interior. Custom bucket seats and rear bench. Car
paint is in good shape. Vinyl roof is factory original as is all glass
including date coded factory windshield with no cracks.
Engine is 40 overbore 400 Small Block Chevy 408 Cubic inches 4
bolt main block with brass freeze plugs. All engine machine work
was performed by Owens Racing Engines in Pearland Texas. Engine
has Scat Crank, Pink rods Comp 292 Hyd. Cam 501 lift 292
Duration. Dart Iron Eagle Heads, 202 Intake 160 Exhaust Manley
valves on 200cc Intake runners and 64cc Cambers. Steam Holes
also drilled. Valves opened by Harlen Sharp 1.5 Alum Roller Rocker
Arms and Screw in stubs. Engine is fitted with 10.0 SRP Forged
Pistons with floating pins and Total Seal file to fit rings.Intake
charge is Edelbrock dual plain RPM intake and carb is 750 cfm
owner perpared Holley 4150. Ignition is fired by a MSD Steel Billet
Dist. and a MSD 6AL Control Box. All bolts are ARP and gaskets are
Fel-Pro. Drive train is a Turbo 350 Auto with a 3200 Stall Speed
Convertor and Shifted by a B&M Quick Silver Shifter. Rear End is a
10 Bolt with Auburn Positive Track Unit and 3:73 Gears and
Aluminum Stud Girdle Rear End Cover. Comp. Slapper Bars and New
BFG\\\'s on all 4 corners. Drivetrain has 17,000 miles on it and in
GREAT Shape! Car runs on Pump Gas, goes stright and is fun to
drive. You do not work on this car like others, put gas in it and go.
Has won many awards at car shows witch I find funny because its
not a show car but a Street Car with CLASS !!!! Hate to let it go but
time to move on! This car will run 11.71 all day long and spin 7,000
RPM time after time 1/4 mile. Car has Power Steering and Power
front Disk and Drum Rear Brakes. If you want a fun car with min.
