Vehicle Description

The Buick Special was an automobile produced by the Buick Motor Division of General Motors, Flint, Michigan. It was usually Buick\'s lowest-priced model, starting out as a full-size car in 1936 and returning in 1961, after a two year hiatus, as a mid-size. Little changed in the 1952 Buick Special lineup, with just a curved side molding and a gravel guard appearing. The base model had a two-piece windshield, while the Deluxe had one-piece. A steel strike and the Korean War cut production of the Special to 120,898, with only 600 of those being convertibles. The car you see here is a beautiful 1952 Buick Special Riviera from southern California. Finished in Venetian Blue, this Buick has received a newer paint job looks very good. There are a few minor imperfections, the most notable is a crack in the paint on the rear trunk lid. The body is very straight and sound. Did we mention this is a true California car? Everyone knows that there was chrome was not used sparingly ... and this Buick has a lot of it! The chrome looks incredible, it shows no notable imperfections. The bumpers appear to have been re-chromed and look great. The correct Buick wheels are intact and look great wrapped with wide white wall bias ply tires. This Buick Special Riviera is really something special! Inside, you\'ll find that the interior has been reupholstered in the correct dark gray cloth and looks fantastic. Everything from the seats to the carpet, the headliner to the door panels looks awesome with no notable signs of wear. The dashboard is in excellent condition and houses all the original gauges. Under the side opening hood, you will find that the original 263ci Fireball Inline 8, capable of making up to 120 horsepower, looks great within the very clean engine bay walls. The engine has a two barrel carburetor and is attached to a three speed manual transmission. This beautiful Buick shows the current mileage to be 38,296 and is being sold on a clear Arizona title. This car has spent nearly its entire life in California but was recently transferred to Arizona in January of this year. The VIN is 69309914 and is titled off of the engine.
LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD:
Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money. Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
  1. Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
  2. Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  3. Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
  4. In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
