1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible with only 26,000 miles for sale! This is perhaps the rarest and most desirable of the C4 Corvette\'s! In a tribute to the great 63 Grand Sport racer, Chevrolet built a 96 Grand Sport that was limited to 1,000 produced. However, only 190 of those were convertibles, making this a collector well before its time. True to its racing heritage, all Grand Sports came with the LT4 5.7L V8 engine. Although it was rated at a conservative 330 horsepower, this Corvette produced quickness that rivaled the much more expensive and exotic ZR1. A six speed manual transmission helped achieve this performance. Take one look at this Vette and there is no mistaking what it is - all Grand Sports were painted Lemans Blue with a single wide white strip running its length from nose to tail, as well as two red hash marks over the driver\'s side fender. Wheels were all ZR1 style five spoke aluminum alloy, and they were painted black. Convertibles were all equipped with manually operated white tops, and Grand Sport embroidering on the dark slate leather interior topped off the look. You won\'t have to hide the fact that you own a Grand Sport when it\'s in storage either - even the custom car cover is colored to match this beauty!
