If you like Muscle Cars but do not think they are powerful enough for today standards, check out this fully restored 69 Chevelle. The 396 was retired in favor of a fire breathing 540 V-8 with 648 horsepower. It features an Eagle rotating assembly, JE pistons, Dart 345 heads, roller cam, 830 CFM Holley carburetor, aluminum intake, big tube headers, electronic ignition, and runs on pump gas. A March front runner system houses the power steering pump, alternator, and Vintage AC compressor. Yep, this beast even has AC! Power is directed to the Moser posi rear end via a T56 6-Speed. Do not be concerned, the extra power is supported by a full Hotchkis tubular suspension system, gas shocks, big bore sway bars, and 17 inch custom wheels. The chrome 5 spoke wheels are mounted with P245/45ZR17 front and P285/40ZR17 rears. The body is solid and stock with a steel cowl hood added. All of the Super Sport trim was left alone. The LeMans blue paint is awesome an shines brilliantly. All of the chrome and glass are very nice too. The immaculate mostly stock Strat-o-bucket seat interior has some nice upgrades. A full Auto-meter Cobalt gauge system keeps you informed and an aftermarket AM/FM CD player keeps you entertained. The tilt column has a correct SS 3 spoke steering wheel mounted to it.
