Vehicle Description

It\'s kind of odd to say that a Chevy of any kind is scarce, but compared to all the \'34 Ford 3-window coupes out there, this stunning 1934 Chevy 3-window is definitely a very nice find. With high-end mechanicals underneath, this rod delivers in a big, big way. First off, this 34 Chevy standard coupe sports a 3.5 inch top chop, and the work was professionally done. There\'s no sign of the seams where the top was sectioned, and the windshield posts were laid back just right to give it the appearance of a factory build. The PPG 2-stage urethane is a light pastel green, which is both subtle and striking, a wonderful contrast to the strong colors on most rods, making this one stand out without shouting. The emblems, door handles, and other exterior trim was shaved, while a Downs grille with stainless insert leads the way. Outlaw supplied the fenders, running boards, and gas tank cover so it has a classic full-fendered look, which is enhanced by the King Bee headlights. Workmanship is outstanding, with tight fit to all the different panels, including the cool frenched taillight lenses, power antenna, and trick Chevy bowtie emblems in the front fenders that double as parking lights. Custom green-tinted glass was fitted throughout due to the top chop and uses all new weather stripping so it seals up tight. The equally stunning interior uses a Wiseguys bench covered in a lovely combination of fabric and vinyl that\'s as subtle and as expertly crafted as the exterior. Lovely custom made door panels are an artistic blend of materials, including the billet handles and armrests, along with power window switches. The dash has been massaged and smoothed, with the center instrument panel holding a group of VDO analog gauges, and there\'s a powerful A/C system hanging underneath. Entertainment comes from a Custom Autosound AM/FM/CD stereo system with remote which also includes an amplifier in the nicely finished trunk. The tilt column is from an early Camaro and is topped by a billet steering wheel that works quite nicely with the Lokar aluminum shift lever sprouting from the center of the floor, as original. But this is not just a pretty car, it\'s also a runner. The engine is a built 350 Chevy with 4-bolt mains and a .030 overbore. A chrome Edelbrock Performer intake with a Holley 4-barrel feeds a set of Chevy double-hump heads, and a set of Weiand block-hugger headers, complete with ceramic coating, handles the exhaust. It\'s quite neatly detailed with billet air cleaner and valve covers and chrome accessories and shows very little evidence of use. Underneath, the stock frame has been boxed and smoothed and fitted with a custom crossmember that adds rack-and-pinion steering and front disc brakes. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic and out back there\'s a color-matched 10-bolt from a \'65 Nova. Staggered Weld alloys fill the fenders with 195/70/14 front and 225/70/15 rear BFGoodrich radials. This lovely Chevy is a study in contradictions and is unusual for all the right reasons. Stand out in a quiet way with this completely sorted 3-window coupe. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom.
