1996 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am For Sale in our Chicago Showroom. This T/A has 40,173 miles on the body and chassis, and just over 1000 miles on the rebuilt, built up LT1 5.7L engine. The engine build on this 96 Trans Am is extensive, and includes parts like; FLP LT1 Heads, LT4 Hot Cam Kit, LT1/LT4 Extreme Duty Timing Chain, ARP head bolts, Comp Cams hardened pushrods, ASP Underdrive Pulley for LT1, all LT1 gasket and seals, FLP LT1 Headers with high flow catalytic converts and off road pipes, MSD wires, Hypertech 160 thermostat, Procharger P600B with new impeller and impeller shaft with bearings, new idler pulley and pullies, HKS by-pass valve, 3 core intercooler upgrade, Mufflex 4 inch power tube, stainless steel braided oil feed and return lines, modified oil pan, ASSC Billet keyed cracnk hub, Lucas 42.5lb fuel injectors, Precision 225 LPH fuel pump, MSD fuel pump booster, LT1 water pump, newer serpentine belt, plus some other upgrades. The automatic transmission has a Precision Industries 2800 torque converter, Tru Cool transmission cooler, RPM module, and a drive shaft safety loop. The interior is in beautiful shape, and appears stock, but there is a roll bar and gauges like an Autometer boost gauge, air fuel ratio gauge, and boost gauge, as well as a RPM shift light. Option include, power windows and locks, power steering and brakes, lumbar support, AM/FM CD, A/C, Keyless Entry, cruise control, T-Tops, Ram Air hood setup, ABS, tilt column, vinyl interior, and driver/passenger air bags.
