Vehicle Description

1981 GMC Sierra Classic K1500, 4x4, short bed pick up very good condition inside and out. This is a Georgia truck, solid body and runs strong. Factory standard 4 speed transmission, V8, 83,021 miles. (1981 was the first year with shift on the floor 4 wheel drive). AM/FM CD stereo, Slight 2 inch lift, Full set or factory gauges. A/C, Tilt steering. Rare factory color combination: White exterior with tan interior. Interior & Exterior in very good condition. 15 inch factory GM Rally wheels with chrome rings and nice Michelin 31x10.5x15 XC AT Tires with excellent tread. New dual exhaust pipes with chrome tips from the Flow Master mufflers back. This truck is dependable, in good condition with very little rust. It is not perfect, but a great solid vehicle for the money. A true Classic at 31 years of age, it took me years to find it. I purchased this truck in 2010 while I was still living in Florida. I relocated here to Massachusetts and had it shipped up and registered here as well. I have invested a lot of time and money to make this truck a daily driver. Too much to list but here is some of the recent work; new front brakes & rotors, rebuilt calibers, New rebuilt front drive shaft, New front u-joint, New windshield, Interior work done: New headliner, New Dash, Dome light, Driver window regulator and inside / outside window seals, all bulbs replaced in Instrument Cluster, Interior Door panels & interior trim re-painted. New EXCEL sparkplug wires, New Coolant & Thermostat.
2nd set of tires & wheels for summer; 4- 33 x12.5x15 BF Goodridge TA\'s mounted on nice factory GM Rally Wheels. I have invested over $4,000 in the last 2 years to bring the truck to where it is now. Only asking $6,500 or best reasonable offer for this truly rare classic survivor. You will be hard pressed to find another one like it. These vintage GMC trucks in good condition will only go up in value. Please call for more details. 239 580 7722
LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD:
Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money. Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
  1. Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
  2. Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  3. Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
  4. In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
