1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am For Sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 86 T/A a 355 CID Small Block Chevy engine that has only 2750 since restoration was finished. The 355 has Roller Rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM Q-jet intake, Quick Technologies 750 Double Pumper 4brl carb, Hooker Headers, and a dual snorkel air cleaner assembly. The exhaust system is Flowmaster. Owner is claiming 435 HP. The 5 speed manual transmission is original to the car and has been freshened up. There is also a chrome power steering pump, alternator, chrome pulley and bracket setup, and a chromed a/c compressor with polished lines. The suspension on this Pontiac Trans Am has a lot of chroming and powered coating done. The steering and some suspension components are chromed, there are Hotchkis Suspension parts, Koni Shocks and Struts, and a 3.23 open rear axle that has been power coated also. The wheels are 17\\\" American Racing Wheels. Other options on the 1986 T/A are power steering and brakes, power remote side mirrors, power hatch release with automatic hatch pull down latching, cruise control, A/C that holds a charge for only 1 season, Delco AM/FM Cassette radio, T-Tops with the factory storage bag, tilt column, cloth interior, rare overhead console with map light, delay wipers, MANUAL window and locks, 140 speedometer with a tripometer, full gauge package, and a rear defroster. This Trans Am has been restored, and the engine compartment, interior, and paint/trim are very nice. It just made an hour trip on the highway with no issues.
