This 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback is originally a Virgina car, was down there untill the mid 80\'s best that i can tell. It is a pretty solid car, looks like a older restoration, It currently has a 390 in it, which is not original, it had a 352. I just had the car NYS inspected, and i drive it to work a couple days a week when its nice. I just put a new 1 wire alternator on it because the lights were dim at night, its not a race car just a nice cruiser. It has no p/s or p/b, has 2bbl carb, duel exhaust, all the wiper, lights, signals ect.. work. The engine doesnt smoke, and runs smooth. Interior is in decent shape as you can see, but does show wear in some spots, most of the dash paint has a slight fade from the sun. mechanicly it has a small exhaust leak ,right by the donut gasket. I believe the floor pans were cut out and replaced,it looks like most of the rustproofing under carriage spray is still there, there are some rust holes in the trunk, and there is about 5 or 6 rust spots or bubbles, all the trim peices are there including skirts, there are some dings and dents on some of the pieces. The frame looks very clean, and im not a expert but it didnt look like there was much bondo. Also one of the front hood springs is missing, i havnt been able to locate a replacement yet. Overall this is a great car, drives down the road excellent, would be a great prospect for a full resto, its a sharp car turns heads every where i go, just needs some tlc. if you are interested in the car and have additional questions, feel free to message or call me 716-550-2308 Nick Thank you!
