options. It is powered by the numbers matching Oldsmobile
rocket 350 4bbl V8 engine.
The turbo hydromatic automatic transmission is also numbers
matching. The front bucket seats and rear seats were
recovered with brand new factory correct covers, and the black
carpet was replaced at that time.
The balance of the interior is in near pristine original condition
as shown in the pictures. This Olds came from the factory
equipped with a sport steering wheel, center console, AM
radio with 8 track tape player, and a power convertible top.
The brand new B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A’s sit on the original
Super Stock II wheels with very nice factory bolt on centers,
and beauty trim rings.
This car was painted with base coat clear coat, and done with
very high quality standards. This body is virtually laser straight
with no signs of any previous rust repair. All the panels line up
nicely and the doors open and close perfectly. The frame,
floors, and trunk are all original and nearly perfect with no rot
ever. All the chrome and stainless is original and still shows
very well. The convertible top is in nice original condition with
no rips or tears and works effortlessly with the flick of a switch.
The Rocket 350 starts with ease and runs, steers, shifts, and
stops like it did when new. This car is really a pleasure to
drive down the road.
